As you can see, it's demons, which have 2 forms. A physical and a spirit form
The spirit forms derive from a person's soul, memories, and leftover ATP. The color of a spirit form depends on what sin a person has committed
If a person has committed more than one sin, the 2 major ones' colors will mix (i.e someone who has committed both wrath and gluttony will have a red-orange spirit)
It's also worth mentioning that if a demon has a limb/facial feature missing, their spirit form will have an "X" over where it would've been
For their physical form, it depends on what climate their ring is as the "underworld" is made up of several (i.e a demon from Envy would be aquatic since that's what the climate is there). Besides that, they can look like anything!
It's also worth mentioning that once a person makes it to the "underworld", they'll start off small before growing taller

You can summon them for whatever reason. However, it's INCREDIBLY risky as 1) unless you're looking for a specific one, it'll be randomized and 2) you can get possessed
Possession is a VERY unstable process as it can lead to serious injury and/or death for anyone around you
Once it's complete, they body may change as long as it doesn't completely destroy itself. You'll also get 2 "consciousnesses": The demon's and the person's. They can take over, mix together, etcFun stuff amiright :D
